HOT FLASH HAIKU

Day 7 (per WEGO Health Activist Writer's Month Challenge), and it's my choice what to write about today. YAY! Since I had such fun yesterday with Haiku, I wrote another — one that women of a certain age will relate to, as will any cancer patient on hormone therapy. Have a great weekend!

Like a bad temper,
Heat rises inside out.
Discard clothing quickly.

  1. I love this haiku, Renn. And the camellia you pictured is stunning. I didn't realize that you are also taking the WEGO writer's month challenge. It's really lots of fun, isn't it? We're learning more and more about ourselves as we go along. XX

  2. Hi Jan! Thanks and I agree, the challenge is a lot more fun than I thought it would be! Definitely learning every day! ;-)

  3. Love it! The hot flashes are so pesky. A fan by my bed, lots of ice water, and the least amount of clothing I can get away with -- I'm right there with you!
